Triad Advisors has launched Triad Hybrid Solutions, a registered investment advisory entity for fee- and commission-based independent financial advisors.
Michael Bryan, Triad’s senior vice president of advisory services, will serve as chief executive of Triad Hybrid Solutions. The new RIA targets primarily comparatively small- to mid-sized independent advisors seeking to own their own RIA firms while offloading regulatory complexity and costs, the firm said.
Advisors will be able to use custodians including Charles Schwab & Co, Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services and National Financial Services, with more partnerships anticipated later this year.
Triad Hybrid Solutions expects to attract investment advisors of RIAs that deal with multiple state registrations, as well as those who do not have the desire to dedicate staff and resources to RIA maintenance, or breakaways from wirehouses who may prefer an established structure. The association with Triad's broker-dealer also means products and services can be offered to clients on either a fee or commission basis.
Additionally, Triad Hybrid Solutions will offer practice management support through third-party providers. An example is Advent Software's Black Diamond portfolio management and performance reporting technology as well as Salesforce.com's client relationship management solutions.
Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Triad Advisors is a US independent broker-dealer and multi-custodial SEC-registered RIA. The firm serves over 550 advisors across the US, the majority of whom operate their own RIA firms, it said.
