The Private Bank Taps JP Morgan Chase for Treasury Specialist

The Private Bank, a Chicago-based unit of Private Bancorp, has recruited Joseph Dolan from JP Morgan Chase.

Mr Dolan will be managing director of treasury management. He was formerly senior vice president at JP Morgan Chase where he was responsible for treasury management professionals throughout the Midwest region.

Mr Dolan began his banking career at American National Bank in Chicago – now a part of JP Morgan Chase – and progressed through the company.

Prior to that, he trained as a tax specialist at Big Four accountant KPMG. He is a certified public accountant as well as a certified treasury professional.

The Private Bank focuses on personalised, premium financial services primarily to privately held businesses, affluent individuals, wealthy families, professionals, entrepreneurs and real estate investors for their personal and professional interests.

The company reported assets of $4.5 billion on 20 June 2007, and has 18 offices located in the Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, St Louis and Kansas City areas.
