Texan firm STA Wealth Management has changed its name to Avidian Wealth Solutions.

Avidian Wealth Solutions is based in Houston with offices in Sugar Land and The Woodlands. The business was founded in 2003 and employs 52 financial professionals, overseeing a total of $2.7 billion in client wealth. 

The company has added new partners, financial planners, certified public accountants, and lawyers to the team.

The name change appears unconnected to any structural move such as an acquisition.
