Encore Bank, a subsidiary of US-listed Encore Bancshares providing wealth management services, has announced a pair of hires in its Texas offices, recruiting James Lykes as senior vice president, manager, private banking and Scott Shackouls as vice president, private banking, at the same firm.

Mr Lykes was most recently SVP, private banking - Galleria at Amegy Bank of Texas. Mr Shackouls was most recently AVP at Amegy Bank of Texas.
