The firm, registered in Georgia, has extended its footprint.

Southeastern-headquartered Synovus Family Asset Management has opened an office in Nashville, Tennessee, and appointed Jamie Nicholson as senior vice president, lead family office advisor of the Nashville team. 

Synovus FAM’s Nashville office is located at 1033 Demonbreun Street. 

With about $6.8 billion in assets under administration, Synovus FAM serves multigenerational, ultra-high net worth family clients located across the globe.

Nicholson was previously with Truxton Trust, which she joined in 2007. She entered the trust industry as a trust and fiduciary officer with SunTrust Bank in Nashville and client advisor with SunTrust Bank in Washington, DC. Nicholson earned her undergraduate degree from Cumberland University and her law degree from Vanderbilt.
