Symmetry Partners Puts Female Investors At Heart Of New Initiative

Symmetry Partners is rolling out a range of resources for RIAs that are looking to expand their client base of female investors.

Glastonbury, CT-based Symmetry Partners, a turnkey asset management and business solutions firm, has launched an initiative aimed at helping financial advisors market to and connect with female investors.

While not really regarded as a "niche" investor segment, Symmetry said female investors are "typically interested in different issues than male investors," a stance adopted by many across the industry.

As an example, last month Florida-based Independent Financial Partners formed a female advisory council called Amplify to support its existing network of women advisors and attract more to the firm. Signator Investors also launched the Signator Women Advisors Network back in October.

Symmetry's "working with women investors" program will host webinars throughout the year featuring advisors who are thought-leaders in the female investor space, it said. Other resources available will include a workbook for advisors, a guide to seminar and event planning, and various postcard templates to encourage more "personalized client engagement."

The firm specializes in offering marketing, branding, technological and operational support to advisors.
