Swiss firm GlobalView picks Advent's web-based APX

Manager hankers for boost in productivity and performance without
cost hike. Geneva-based asset manager GlobalView Investments has
chosen Advent Software's Portfolio Exchange (APX), the web-based
version of Advent's Axys portfolio-management technology to
support to push for growth without increasing overhead costs.
"Advent has a proven track record and was able to meet our needs
for a robust solution and a quick implementation," says
GlobalView managing partner Peter Jan Kroon. "APX has enabled us
to have the technological capabilities to improve our operational
effectiveness and retain our high levels of client satisfaction,
[while] significantly enhancing our offering to the market."
Up and running
Advent says it completed the implementation of APX with
GlobalView in less than 30 days.
"We are thrilled that GlobalView has selected [APX], which has
been the solution of choice for wealth managers in the [European,
Middle Eastern and African] region since its launch three years
ago," says Hakan Valberg, Advent's general manager in the region.
"Their success with APX also demonstrates the benefits and value
that Advent delivers to wealth managers, and the rapid [return on
investment] they receive from our solutions. We look forward to
working with GlobalView to support their growth strategy."
Advent says it has nearly 100 APX clients in Europe and the
Middle East. One of them is the private bank Pictet, another
Geneva-based firm.
GlobalView provides custom-designed portfolios to high-net-worth
investors. It has about $500 million in assets under management.
