The Dallas, Texas-headquartered bank has brought in a figure with over three decades' investment experience.

Sunflower Bank has appointed John Sawyer as chief investment officer and director of wealth management and private banking. 

Sawyer has more than 30 years’ investment experience with a proven track record leading trust, investment management, brokerage and RIA units at regional and community banks. Based in Denver, Sawyer spent most of his career in various Texas markets. 

“His long history of building robust trust and wealth services teams will serve Sunflower Bank well as we continue to broaden client relationships,” Neal Arnold, CEO and president of Sunflower Bank, said. 

Dallas-headquartered Sunflower Bank has operations in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico and Texas.
