Summary Of Wealth Management Appointments In North America – March 2025

Moves, appointments, personnel changes and other adjustments during March.

Equitable appointed advisor, Shebna Olsen-Shillibeer to join its wealth management arm, Equitable Advisors. Based in New York, Olsen-Shillibeer came from JP Morgan Wealth Management.

Financial advisors Mila Kisz and Roman Kisz joined the independent channel of Ameriprise Financial, from Edward Jones where they managed $100 million in client assets.

ArentFox Schiff, a law firm, appointed Molly F James to join its private clients, trusts and estates practice in Washington, DC. James, who was named as a partner, has more than 30 years’ experience guiding families through estate planning and administration. Prior to this, James was at Troutman Pepper Locke. 

Mesirow made three hires in its alternative credit team: Nicholas Paidas, director, capital markets and sourcing; Servia Rindfleish, client portfolio manager; and Bryce Labonski, associate, asset management.

A former executive at KKR’s global wealth unit joined New York-listed Blue Owl Capital. Named global head of family capital, he is based in London and reports to James Clarke, global head of Blue Owl’s institutional business.

Flagstar Bank, a regional US lender working in 10 states, appointed Mark Pittsey as executive vice president, head of private banking and wealth management. Most recently, Pittsey served as head of global private banking Americas and wealth and distribution USA at HSBC. Before this, Pittsey held leadership positions at Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo.

PGIM Fixed Income brought Deleep Singh back into the firm. Singh served in senior roles in the former Biden administration, the New York Federal Reserve, and US Treasury. Singh he took on the role of vice chair, chief global economist and head of global macroeconomic research. 

RBC Wealth Management bought in a financial advisor team with nearly $300 million in client assets under management to its Las Vegas branch. Jordan Grangard, managing director – financial advisor, joined from UBS. Grangard, who has over 12 years of industry experience, specializes in servinhg in ultra-high net worth and business owner clients. The Grangard private wealth team includes Grangard, Jelena Draganic, senior business associate, Derek Smith, registered client associate, and Cheyeanne Escanuela, client associate.

Dynasty Financial Partners appointed Sam Anderson and Harris Baltch as co-heads of Dynasty Investment Bank. Before joining Dynasty, they worked at Goldman Sachs and UBS, respectively. Anderson and Baltch report to Justin Weinkle, Dynasty's chief financial officer, who was concurrently named chair of Dynasty's capital committee.

Carson Group appointed Ramesh Vaswani as chief technology officer. Vaswani came from Envestnet and has over two decades of experience in technology leadership. At Envestnet, he was global head of engineering.

Procyon Partners, an RIA, added Massimo Santicchia as senior vice president, head of US equities, and Katherine Gallagher, SVP, senior portfolio manager.

Mesirow, an independent, employee-owned financial services firm, appointed Ashley Crotwell as vice president, wealth advisor of Mesirow Wealth Management. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2025, Crotwell served as a senior wealth advisor at Sequoia Financial Advisors.

Wooster Square Advisors, a New Haven-based investment management firm, appointed Francis McGrail to lead the firm’s newly-founded Wooster Square Partners, focused on recruiting growth-minded advisors. McGrail has more than 30 years of financial services industry experience. 

Avantax, a group of financial professionals specializing in tax within US-based Cetera Holdings, appointed Toby Brazzel. Brazzel moved to Avantax from Allstate Financial Services, where he had about $80 million in client assets under administration as of August 2024. He has been in the financial sector for more than 28 years.

Bill Crager, Envestnet co-founder and its CEO from 2019 to 2024, resurfaced on the board of directors at Fiduciary Exchange. Starting Envestnet in 1999, Crager became a high-profile figure in North American wealth management.

Global business advisor EisnerAmper appointed David Frigeri as partner and its chief artificial intelligence officer. With more than 25 years of experience, Frigeri previously guided organizations on developing AI tools, robotic process automation, and machine learning.

ArentFox Schiff added Todd Angkatavanich to its private clients, trusts and estates practice. He is a partner. Prior to this, he was a partner at in the private client group at McDermott Will & Emery LLP.

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) appointed Scott Engelbrecht as its chief development officer. Engelbrecht has been an integral part of CLA for more than 30 years.

PureFacts Financial Solutions, which provides end-to-end revenue management solutions for the investment industry, appointed three executives to its C-suite. They are Robert O’Boyle, chief revenue officer; Anuradha (Anu) Dodda, chief technology officer; and Stephen Tkaczyk as chief financial officer.

Savvy Wealth, a digital platform for financial advisors, appointed Eric Hurkman as its first chief technology officer. Hurkman is a career software engineer with more than a dozen years’ experience building and leading engineering teams and developing software in the fintech industry. 

RBC Global Asset Management has hired Connor Antisdale as a senior corporate analyst on the BlueBay US high-yield team. Antisdale – based in Stamford, Connecticut – reports to Andrzej Skiba, head of BlueBay US fixed income at RBC Global Asset Management.

Raymond James
The firm appointed financial advisor Davis Brister to join the group’s employee advisor channel, in Mandeville, Louisiana. Brister arrived from Merrill Lynch.

It welcomed financial advisor Jason Torrey-Payne to its employee advisor channel. As Torrey-Payne Wealth Management of Raymond James, based in Pasadena, California, Torrey-Payne provides wealth management guidance to a variety of clients.

Raymond James also welcomed financial advisor Steven Porter to its employee advisor channel, in Winter Park, Florida. Porter arrived from Charles Schwab.

It appointed Ronice Barlow in the newly-formed role of chief operating officer for its independent contractor division. Most recently, she was senior vice president, senior strategic sales director for the US Wealth division of Franklin Templeton.

The firm welcomed financial advisor Barbie Beck to its employee advisor channel. Beck is based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she was joined by client service associate Ana Mae Billingsley. Beck, who was previously affiliated with Morgan Stanley, managed over $140 million in client assets.

An advisor who had worked before with UBS Financial joined the employee advisor arm of Raymond James in Vero Beach, Florida. Russell Cappelen operates as Cappelen Wealth Management of Raymond James. At UBS, he ran about $394 million in client assets.

Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Daniela Fricke and Kelly Erickson to its employee advisor channel. The duo, who arrived from LPL Financial, where they managed nearly $200 million in client assets, were joined at Raymond James by senior client service associate Melissa Phillips. They are based in Newport Beach, California.

Raymond James welcomed financial advisor Judy Chong to its employee advisor channel in Maite, Guam. She arrived from Merrill Lynch and was joined by investment portfolio associate Brianna Tabilas, and client service associates Hope Chamberlain and Toni Vegafria.
