The latest senior moves, appointments and personnel changes in the North American wealth management sector.
Janney Montgomery Scott added financial advisor Michael Mrotzek, first president for wealth management, in Red Bank, New Jersey. Mrotzek used to work for Morgan Stanley.
Janney Montgomery Scott welcomed financial advisor Noel Becker in Hudson, Ohio. Becker was joined by Jean Phelps, senior wealth planning associate. Most recently with UBS, the team manages nearly $750 million in client assets. The firm also brought in financial advisor Scott Patterson in Hunt Valley, Maryland. He is joining Griffin Wealth Management, a four-person team. Patterson was formerly with Raymond James.
UBS appointed financial advisor Clay Young. He joined the South market led by regional director Julie Fox, market executive Gregory Achten, and market director Sara Perez Barrett. Clay is based in Jonesboro. Over his more than 30-year career, he has worked at AG Edwards, Stephens, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch before joining UBS in 2026.
Lincoln Investment Planning said financial advisors Curtis Wilcox and Paul Niemiec had joined Lincoln’s broker dealer and RIA. Wilcox and Niemiec were introduced to the firm through WealthGuide Advisors, an ensemble of financial advisors already affiliated with Lincoln Investment.
Scottsdale-based Amplify Technology appointed Jason Rowley as president and Kimberly Hill as chief revenue officer. Rowley was previously Amplify’s chief of staff and general counsel. Hill was previously chief revenue officer.
Cyndeo Wealth Partners, a Florida-based RIA, appointed Glenn Rodriguez as senior vice president and financial advisor. He was previously at Merrill Lynch.
Bob Oros, most recently CEO of Hightower Advisors, was named president of PPB Capital Partners, a 21-year old alternative investment platform. Oros’ stops on the financial services circuit over three-plus decades have included senior executive roles at Charles Schwab, HD Vest (now Avantax), Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services, and LPL Financial.
Broadridge Financial Solutions appointed Peter Reali as senior vice president and general manager of institutional governance, a newly-created business aimed at advancing proxy voting, stewardship and governance solutions for institutional investors. Reali, who is based in New York, reports to Swatika Rajaram, president, bank and broker-dealer solutions. Previously, Reali was an MD on Nuveen’s responsible investing team.
Baird appointed Bryan Vaughn as a director and financial advisor, based in its private wealth management office in Fort Worth, Texas. Vaughn came from Ameriprise Financial Services.
UBS appointed two teams: Alan Cumming, Les Loggins, and Grant Wheat joined in Tyler, Texas; in New Jersey, Tim Coughlin based in Paramus, joined the Greater NY metro market.
Goldman Sachs appointed Sara Naison-Tarajano as the head of Goldman Sachs Ayco – a business providing company-sponsored financial planning and wealth management services. Naison-Tarajano, who continued to serve as global head of the Goldman Partner Office, has been at the US firm for 27 years.
Cresset appointed Mark Thompson as executive managing director, institutional consulting, based in New York. He has spent most of his nearly two-decade financial services career in the wealth management industry. Thompson was previously MD of Morgan Stanley’s Fiduciary Consulting Group, an RIA within the US bank.
Prosperity – an EisnerAmper company and RIA – added two wealth advisors in Southern California: Merryll McElwain (Los Angeles) and Keon Khamsehpour (La Jolla).
RBC Wealth Management – US added the Turnock Bonacci Group to its Annapolis, Maryland branch. The team, which came from Morgan Stanley, includes Kevin Turnock, managing director, financial advisor and senior portfolio manager; Anthony Bonacci, senior vice president, financial advisor and senior portfolio manager; Michael Norris, senior business associate; and Julia Harrison, investment associate.
A former LPL Financial team of advisors moved to the independent advisor arm of Raymond James. The team comprises advisors J Steven Bush, Shane Swift, James Schmertmann, Brett Johnson and Eric VanWinkle. It was joined by client services manager Sarah Johanson, client services assistant Clarissa Conduff, and client services associate Cameron Drury.
Separately, Kirk Bell was named president of the independent contractor division (ICD) of Raymond James Financial Services.
Finastra, a financial services software business, unveiled a centralized “AI Center of Excellence.” It also appointed Chris McClellen as group head of AI to lead the initiative, reporting to chief technology officer Mike Stawchansky.
Northern Trust Wealth Management appointed Alyssa Quinlan as head of advisor relationships and strategic partnerships. She reports to global head of sales David Albright. Her role was a newly formed one. Quinlan has 25 years of experience across wealth management, private banking and fine art. She most recently served as CEO of Freeman’s Auctions & Appraisals.
F2 Strategy said Ryan Beach was reappointed as CEO. FNZ had announced Beach’s appointment as North America group head last September. F2 did not identify FNZ by name, saying only that Beach had been exploring other options in the past six months.
Northern Trust Wealth Management, part of Chicago-headquartered Northern Trust, appointed David Albright as the global head of sales, reporting to Jason Tyler, wealth management president. Albright previously led client development for Global Family & Private Offices (GFO), a role he held from 2013.
Fortis Management Group appointed Genine Iffla as director for family education and governance. Iffla has more than a decade of experience designing and delivering family education and governance programs for families, financial institutions, and multi-generational wealth creators.
Foundation Source appointed Sabrina Bailey as president, a newly-created role. Bailey most recently served as chief executive officer of Fiducient Advisors, a national investment consultancy serving institutions and families.
Citi Private Bank appointed Chad Reddy as its market executive for the West region, reporting to Chris Biotti, head of the private bank’s North America business. Reddy has more than 25 years’ wealth management experience and joined from Bank of America Private Bank.
Cresset announced that Susie Cranston, who had been president of the firm, is now CEO. Co-founders Avy Stein and Eric Becker continue as executive co-chairmen. Cranston had served as president of Cresset since April 2024.
FNZ appointed Anthony Habis as group head of North America, in addition to his ongoing role as group chief commercial officer. Habis has more than 25 years of global leadership experience across wealth and asset management, including senior roles at MA Financial Group (Moelis Australia) and BNY Mellon.
Brown Brothers Harriman appointed Scott Bayer as a vice president and senior wealth planner in the firm’s Houston office. Prior to this, Bayer was at Gray Reed, where he was a partner in the firm’s estate planning practice.
NetLaw, a legal technology platform, appointed Tim Fisk, JD, as senior vice president of partnerships. Fisk has more than 20 years of experience spanning estate planning law, trust services, and wealth management technology in advisor-facing roles.
Perigon Wealth Management added Jon Seif as managing director of digital strategy and Luke Samuels as senior director of business development. Seif, who reports to Arthur Ambarik, CEO of Perigon, leads the firm's data, AI and technology implementation. Seif has served in similar roles with Betterment, Envestnet/Yodlee and Catchlight (incubated within Fidelity Labs).
Samuels, who joined Perigon's organic growth team, held various marketing leadership positions with Wealth Enhancement Group, Empower and Personal Capital.
MSCI appointed former Goldman Sachs senior figure Dinesh Gupta as chief data officer and head of operations. Gupta previously led AI and digitalization efforts at Goldman Sachs.
Hashdex, a crypto asset manager focused on exchange-traded funds for wealth managers, appointed Mick McLaughlin as the company’s first US chief executive. McLaughlin, who also serves as global distribution head, has led Hashdex’s crypto ETF platform since joining the firm in 2024.
Buchalter appointed Emily Karr and Susan Bock as corporate partners in its Portland, Oregon, office.
Jump, which provides AI solutions for financial advisors, appointed Diana Cabrices as “chief evangelist,” making the case for the firm’s advisor education, growth strategy content and data-backed coaching initiatives.

Former Truist Investment Services financial advisor Nathan Chapman joined Raymond James, working in its employee advisor segment.
Financial advisor Alex Sarmiento joined the employee advisor channel of Raymond James. He was previously with Wells Fargo.
A team of six advisors moved to the independent advisor arm of Raymond James. Based in Rochester, New York, the advisors are Mike McNaughton, Dan Schmitz, Greg Schuler, Traci Lewis, Jeff Santillo and John Woodworth. They operate as OakWood Financial Services.
