A roundup of moves, appointments and other changes in the North American wealth management sector.
TritonPoint Partners appointed Jonathan Amoia as a managing director. Based in Buffalo, New York, he manages about $300 million in assets for business owners and high net worth and ultra-HNW families. Amoia founded Advocate Wealth. Previously, he was partner and MD at Sand Hill Investment Management.
Chicago-based law firm Neal Gerber Eisenberg appointed Jeffrey D Glickman as a partner in its private wealth practice.
Perkins Coie, a law firm, appointed Mohsen Ghazi to join its private client services practice as a partner in Chicago. Ghazi counsels family offices, fund sponsors, and high net worth clients on structuring tax-advantaged funds and family offices in the US and abroad.
Pinnacle Associates appointed Amy Pastorino as financial planning director. Pastorino joined the firm in 2024 as senior financial planner. Prior to this, she served at Morgan Stanley as advanced planning and development director and financial planning director for the firm’s Midtown market in NYC.
Pritzker Alternative Strategies appointed Joseph Kusnan as senior advisor. Kusnan has more than 25 years of family office investing, advisory and consulting experience with family offices.
RBC Wealth Management – US added the Rottenberg Wealth Management Group in Florham Park, New Jersey. The team is led by father-son duo Hank and Matthew Rottenberg, both financial advisors – senior vice presidents. The team was previously at UBS where it managed nearly $400 million in client assets.
RBC Wealth Management – US added the Creative Strategies for Modern Wealth Group in the Syracuse, New York branch. The seven-person team, previously at UBS, includes: Michael Wirtheim, senior vice president and financial advisor; Ronald Scott, SVP and financial advisor; Nancy Collins, SVP, financial advisor; Ronald Molinari, SVP, financial advisor; Eric Petranchuk, financial associate; Emily Pascale, senior client associate; and Lea DiGiovanni, client associate.
SoundRidge Private Wealth, a Manhattan-based financial advisory practice affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, said Michael A Coraggio had become managing director. He joined from Janney Montgomery Scott.
Law firm ArentFox Schiff appointed Ilana Bley to join its private clients, trusts and estate practice in Chicago as a partner. Bley previously worked at Gould & Ratner.
Baird added Ken Murray as a director and financial advisor to its wealth management office in Fairfax, Virginia. Murray is supported by associate financial advisor Paul Brick and client assistant Rebecca Fakhar. Murray joined from Edelman Financial Engines, where he managed $320 million in assets.
Alto, a self-directed IRA platform that covers private markets, appointed Evan Deussing as its sales head, and Ari Koban as vice president of enterprise partnerships. Previously, Deussing was partner and managing director, head of distribution at PPB Capital Partners, where he was responsible for expanding the firm’s presence across the private wealth and RIA channels.
Carson Group launched its inaugural NextGen Advisor Council and the rollout of a new Carson Wealth career pathing program.

Financial advisor Kim Ramchandani affiliated with Cetera after having spent almost two decades at LPL Financial.
iCapital appointed Gary Gallagher as president, reporting to Lawrence Calcano, chairman and CEO. Previously, he served on the executive team at Fidelity Institutional, most recently as head of strategic business development.
Partners Capital made seven promotions to its leadership team, including appointments of three partners and four managing directors in its San Francisco, Boston, Dallas, London, and Singapore offices.

equity and real estate;
-- Sam Hufton (partner, Boston): Hufton is a senior member of the
client CIO team, overseeing several of the firm’s private and
institutional clients in North America;
-- Jeff McDonnell (managing director, Boston): McDonnell is a
member of the private markets investment research team with a
focus on real estate, infrastructure, and private
equity;
-- Olivia Newell (MD, Dallas): Newell is a client CIO for
educational endowments, foundations, and private clients and she
launched and continues to lead the firm’s Dallas office;
and
-- Alyssa Rau (MD, Boston): Rau is head of fund services,
overseeing operations of the firm’s fund program.
Baird, a wealth management, asset management, investment banking/capital markets and private equity firm, appointed Janet Hawkins as an associate branch manager. She has held leadership positions at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab and Ameriprise Financial.
Federated Hermes said RJ Gallo, senior vice president and deputy chief investment officer (CIO) for global fixed income and co-head of the Municipal Bond Group, had become CIO for global fixed income. He succeeded Robert Ostrowski, executive vice president and CIO for global fixed income.
Hightower Advisors appointed Bob Lavigne as chief compliance officer for Hightower Holdings. He reports to Hightower CEO Larry Restieri. Before this, Lavigne served as vice president and chief compliance officer at Edelman Financial Engines.
Vontobel, a Swiss investment firm, appointed Martin “Marty” Coughlin as consultant relationship manager – a newly-formed role. Previously, he worked at Lord Abbett, where he was responsible for consultant relations. Prior to that, Coughlin held a similar position at Boston Partners Global Investors.
Brighton Jones promoted Melinda Torres to chief marketing officer. Torres joined Brighton Jones in March 2025 following the acquisition of her branding agency Doubleknot Creative.
Glenmede appointed Joe Coconate as managing director and regional head of Florida. Coconate, based in the firm’s Palm Beach office, reports to Adam Douberly, director of regional markets. Coconate most recently served as director, senior banker, at Citi Private Bank. He also served in leadership roles at Northern Trust, Bank Leumi USA, and Credit Suisse.
AlTi Tiedemann Global named Brittany Cook as co-head of the wealth planning team; she partnered with longtime leader Jim Bertles. Since 2017, she has been with Tiedemann Trust Company in roles including wealth planner and fiduciary counsel.
Envestnet appointed Sue Burton as chief marketing officer, reporting to Chris Todd, CEO. Previously, Burton was senior vice president of marketing, digital, and member experience at Digital Federal Credit Union.
Gregory Kearney, an advisor formerly affiliated with LPL Financial, moved to Cetera. He is based in Westport, Connecticut.
The Financial Planning Association said Dan Galli, who is principal of Daniel J Galli & Associates, officially started his FPA presidency.
AllianceBernstein appointed Onur Erzan as its president.
Steward Partners, based in Stamford, Connecticut, appointed Keith Taylor as board chairman. Taylor, who served on its board since 2019, is also managing director at The Cynosure Group. Taylor succeeded Michael McMahon, who retired from his formal role as chairman.
Raymond James
The firm welcomed financial advisor Michael Thomason to its
employee advisor channel. Thomason, who operates as Thomason
Wealth Management of Raymond James in Frisco, Texas, was
previously with Merrill Lynch.
The firm said financial advisor Janet Bone joined the employee advisor channel of Raymond James, based in St Louis, Missouri.
A team operating as Wahlen Advisory Group of Raymond James in Waukesha, Wisconsin joined US-listed Raymond James, having previously worked with Edward Jones.
