The new appointee will replace the current head Gino Timperio who is retiring at the end of June after a 35-year career with the firm.

Financial services provider State Street has appointed Taryn Siglain (pictured) as the new head of financing solutions.

In her new role, Siglain will head State Street's agency lending, prime services, and secured (Repo) financing businesses, focusing on business strategy, execution and innovative ways of driving growth.

Siglain is succeeding Gino Timperio who is retiring from State Street at the end of June after a 35-year career with the firm. She will report to Tony Bisegna, head of global markets, the firm said in a statement.

Siglain joined State Street in early 2023 as global head of prime services. Prior to joining State Street, she spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as head of Americas secured funding trading and collateral optimization. She has also served in a variety of roles across client financing strategy, investor relations and corporate treasury capital management.

“As client needs continue to change and evolve, it is critical for our markets business that we have the most impactful team structure in place to support the needs of our clients,” Bisegna said. “Taryn’s wealth of industry experience in client-facing roles, strategy as well as overseeing trading businesses makes her well suited for this position.”
