Southern California Bank Passes Milestone, Doubles AuM In Five Years

Signature Estate and Investment Advisors, a California-based wealth management firm, reported yesterday that it had reached the $2 billion mark in assets under management, doubling its AuM in less than five years.

The business was founded in 1997 as a boutique wealth managementfirm, operating a non-discretionary management model, bringing clients into every investment decision made. It was created by four founding partners.

“In the mid-1990s, the SEIA partners saw a trend forming to break away from a commission-based compensation structure in favor of a fee-based advisory model. In keeping with this forward-thinking philosophy, they adopted this method of partnering with clients. This has helped to build a strong relationship of trust between the firm and its clients,” the firm said in a statement.
