Smith & Williamson, the UK accountancy and investment management firm, has established a dedicated family office website to help private clients, their families and business interests with their financial affairs.

The firm said its family office service is designed to meet the needs of families whose wealth has accumulated over generations, along with those of today’s entrepreneurial generation who have created considerable financial assets.

The website brings together expertise in three financial components of a family’s affairs - investment management, tax and financial planning - and provides insight into current issues facing families.

Smith & Williamson had over £13 billion (about $20 billion) in funds under management and advice, as at end-December 2012. The group has 11 principal offices in the UK and Ireland.
