SimCorp, which last year acquired Equipos, has made a senior sales hire in North America.

SimCorp, a provider of investment management solutions and services for the global financial services industry, has appointed Scott Johnson as vice president and head of sales for North America, based in New York.

Johnson was most recently vice president of business development at Sapient Global Markets and before that led North American sales for package integration at Capco, a global business and technology consultancy.

In other recent news, last month SimCorp appointed Marc Mallett as vice president of products and managed services in North America, based in Chicago, IL.

It has now been over a year since SimCorp completed its acquisition of Equipos, the client reporting firm.
