Securities America picks Albridge's data technology

Broker-dealer introduces enterprise data management to 1,800 intermediaries. Broker-dealer Securities America has introduced Albridge Solutions' enterprise data management (EDM) and wealth-reporting technology to its 1,800-strong network of independent representatives.

Albridge says its technology lets advisors generate on-demand performance reports on client accounts, and gives them access to a consolidated view of their clients' overall holdings. If they can be persuaded to use the tool, access to Albridge's technology puts Securities America's reps in "an elite group" of advisors able to provide consolidated performance reporting, according to Albridge.

"Albridge's technology provides Securities America advisors with access to a powerful tool for providing consolidated reporting on their clients' accounts and ensuring that results align closely with a client's financial plan," says Dennis King, head of business development at Securities America. "This is a capability that few financial advisors across the industry can offer today."

Omaha, Neb.-based Securities America is part of Ameriprise, formerly American Express Financial Advisors.

Lawrenceville, N.J.-based Albridge provides web-based portfolio accounting and performance reporting solutions to about 140 firms with more than 90,000 advisors and around $1 trillion in assets. -FWR
