Alvaro
Morales, chief executive of Santander Private Banking UK, is moving to
Miami to become chief executive of Santander Private Banking International.

Meanwhile, Alan
Mathewson, director of the Bancassurance division, will take up the role of managing
director of Santander Private Banking UK (onshore and offshore businesses) and
Abbey for Intermediaries, a newly-created position, on 1 May.

This new
position effectively combines Morales’s current role and the role of Ricky
Okey, managing director of Abbey Intermediaries, who is leavingSantander.
