SVP At MSSB Leaves To Join MFO

Philip Sachs, a senior vice president at
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, has left to become a
partner at the advisory firm and multi-family office WMS
Partners, taking with him colleagues Christine Buckley and
Tanika McNair.
Maryland-based WMS Partners was established by Timothy Chase and Martin Eby in 1992. It has around $1.6 billion in client assets under management and eight partners, including Sachs.
Sachs, who has just left MSSB, was at Legg Mason and its successor firms for 29 years. During his time there he established a private client business in Legg Mason’s downtown Baltimore office, which is now part of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
