SVB Financial Group has appointed
Greg Becker as president of the company.

Becker is the president of Silicon Valley Bank, the firm's subsidiary, and has been so since 2008. He will retain his current role, in addition to his new capacity.
Ken Wilcox, the chief executive officer of SVB Financial Group and Silicon Valley Bank, will also maintain his position.

Also announced was the appointment of ex-SVB Capital president
Mark LacLennan to the leadership of the company's corporate finance division. His old role will be taken over by
Sven Weber, who has served as managing director of the funds-of-funds business since 2009.

SVB Financial Group is a financial holding company that serves firms in the technology, life science, venture capital, private equity and premium wine industries. Through its subsidiaries such as Silicon Valley Bank, SVB Analytics, SVB Capital, SVB Global, and SVB Private Client Services, the company provides clients with commercial, investment, international, and private banking services.
