Russia’s Nomos Hires Ex-Standard Bank Trio To Strengthen Investments Division

Russia's Nomos-Bank, which counts private banking among its services, has strengthened its investments division with an appointment of three ex-Standard Bank employees.

These appointments are intended to strengthen the key activities of the bank’s investment, such as Forex operations, money market and operations with fixed income instruments, the firm said in a statement.

Artyom Gavrilov will be heading the Forex operations division. While at Standard Bank he was a senior sales trader on the Forex market. Prior to that, Gavrilov worked at Swedbank as a dealer on the currency and money markets.

Nikita Chudnov was hired as a specialist in the bank's Forex operations division. While at Standard Bank he worked in the bank’s global markets management division and prior to that he worked at the Trust investment bank.

Aleksey Baranchikov joined the bank as a portfolio manager and in his new role he will be responsible for operations with fixed income instruments. He previously worked as a trader in the debt instruments trading department at Standard Bank and as a specialist in rouble bonds sales at Zenit Bank.
