Rothstein Kass Brings In Ex-Wilmington Family Office Veteran

New York-based accounting and advisory firm Rothstein Kass has made former Wilmington Trust manging director Neil Tendler as a tax principal in its Roseland, N.J., office and a lead member of its family-office practice. As when he was with Wilmington Trust's family-office unit, he'll provide tax advice, income and estate tax planning, and federal state and local tax compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and families.

"The quality and passion of our staff have helped Rothstein Kass to establish a reputation for integrity, ethics and discipline that is the foundation for our success," says Rothstein Kass co-managing principal Steve Kass. "During his career as a wealth planning specialist, Neil has also exemplified these characteristics."

Prior to joining Wilmington Del.-based Wilmington Trust in New York, Tendler developed and led a family-office team at Deutsche bank Alex. Brown. Among other previous roles, he was in charge of KPMG's personal financial-planning practice in the US Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Rothstein Kass has seven offices in the U.S., and one on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. It counts hedge-fund managers, business owners, corporate executives, professional athletes and entertainers among its family-office clients.
