Rockefeller Global Family Office Adds Ex-Morgan Stanley Team

The addition of the group is part of the firm's wider presence in Florida, where it already operates from a number of offices.
Rockefeller Global Family Office, the wealth management division of Rockefeller Capital Management, said last Friday that it is setting up a presence in Naples, Florida. It is adding Coplin Wealth Partners, a team that had previously been with Morgan Stanley.
The move adds to Rockefeller’s other offices in the state – Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach Gardens, Ponte Vedra, Wellington and Winter Park.
Coplin Wealth Partners, which advises ultra-high net worth individuals and families, is led by private advisor and managing director Steven Coplin, who has more than 25 years of experience working with multigenerational clients. The team also includes private advisor and senior vice president Ryan Sherman, private advisors and vice presidents Lynette Susi and Caroline Coplin, chief operating officer and VP Ashley Gegenwarth, client relationship associate Biagio Delboccio and client associate Phoebe Coplin.
The group will report to Kristen Sario, Southeast regional president of Rockefeller Global Family Office.
“Naples continues to see meaningful growth in private wealth and is an important market for our clients,” Michael Outlaw, president of Rockefeller Global Family Office, said.
As reported last September, investors led by Mousse Partners, Progeny 3, and Abrams Capital have joined forces with RCM, investing more than $6.6 billion to give the firm additional firepower for domestic and international growth.
In a call last year, RCM, founded in 2018, told this news service that it is eyeing opportunities for growth in areas such as Singapore and the Middle East. It already has a London office in addition to its presence in 32 US markets.
