Rockefeller Adds Wealth Team In Bay Area

Rockefeller’s wealth division has been busy recently adding teams around the country.

Rockefeller Global Family Office – part of Rockefeller Capital Management – has added Pollock Salah Wealth Partners, co-located in Walnut Creek and San Francisco, California.

The firm – comprising six people led by private advisors Gary Pollock, Craig Pollock, and Anis Salah – is joining from JP Morgan Wealth Management.

The team, which will report to Brian Riley, western divisional director, includes financial analyst Annette Smith, senior client associate Maryann Jensen, and registered client associate Ethan Huang.

“Pollock Salah Wealth Partners exemplifies the high-quality and deep experience of the private advisors we are continuing to attract to Rockefeller,” Christopher Dupuy, president of Rockefeller Global Family Office, said.

In 1986, Gary Pollock co-founded and was president of Bay Isle Financial where he managed the operations and investments for individual clients. In 2004, he joined First Republic Investment Management. Before that, he worked for nearly 20 years in financial, management, and planning roles at Chevron Corp.

Craig Pollock brings more than 25 years of diverse financial industry experience to Rockefeller. Prior to joining JP Morgan and First Republic, he began his career at Bay Isle Financial as an equity research analyst and later helped launch a technology mutual fund. He has also managed client service, operations, trading, and technology departments in a career that has included stops at Berger Mutual Funds and Janus Capital Group.

Anis Salah has nearly 20 years of experience in finance. During his tenure at JP Morgan and First Republic he served in a variety of roles in the wealth industry.

In February, Rockefeller Global Family Office added Variant Path Group, a 10-person team based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rockefeller’s wealth division has been busy recently adding teams around the country. In early February, for example, it added Lewis Wealth Partners – the firm’s first private advisor team based in Richmond, Virginia. In January, it brought in Axiom Wealth Partners, a business with 26 people based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In November 2023, it added Moon Wealth Partners of Bethesda, Maryland.

RCM has expanded rapidly since it was established in 2018. The firm’s origins date to when the family office was set up in 1882 by energy tycoon John D Rockefeller. As of December 31, 2023, the organization was responsible for $122 billion in client assets across its three businesses: Rockefeller Global Family Office, Rockefeller Asset Management, and Rockefeller Strategic Advisory.
