Rockefeller Adds Maryland Wealth Team
The New York-headquartered firm continues to add wealth management teams to its embrace across the US.
Rockefeller Global Family Office, part of Rockefeller Capital Management, recently added another business to its network: Moon Wealth Partners, of Bethesda, Maryland.
The group, who have joined from Merrill Lynch’s private banking and investment group, will report to Kristen Sario, Southeast divisional director of Rockefeller Global Family Office.
Moon Wealth Partners is led by managing director and private advisor Robert “Rob” Moon, who brings 30 years of wealth management experience to the role. Moon began his career at Citigroup/Smith Barney and then joined Merrill in 2008. He also holds a Certified Portfolio Manager designation.
In September, Rockefeller also added North Carolina-based Decision Point Wealth Partners. That group previously worked at UBS. The firm also added another former UBS team, Bridgeline Wealth Partners, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Heading in the other direction, a US wealth management firm, Next Capital Management, recently recruited two former figures from Rockefeller Global Family Office – part of Rockefeller Capital Management – Christopher Fineburg and Teresa Armel. Fineburg and Armel joined as senior wealth advisor and wealth advisor, respectively.
