Recruiter Adds Two Financial Services Partners In NYC

The executive search firm Odgers Berndtson has brought in Glenn Stevens and Rachel Schultz as partners in its financial services practice in New York, effective immediately.

Stevens joins the firm with around 15 years of executive search experience, most recently as a managing director at Gerson Group, a boutique recruitment firm. There he set up a London office and led an expansion in Europe.

He will be focusing on clients in investment banking, alternative investments, asset management and capital markets. He will also work within the firm's sports practice, reflecting earlier corporate experience, Odgers Berndtson said. In addition to traditional search services, Stevens will also be facilitating strategic alliances and introductions to help clients with capital raising and company formation.

Schultz, who also joins from Gerson Group, will continue to focus on her core Wall Street business. She will work primarily with clients in the investment banking, alternative asset management and capital markets industries. She was a founding member and director at her former firm.

In August Odgers Berndtson hired Alexander Thomson, a financial services specialist, as a partner at its Boston office and head of its US asset management practice, which the search firm said is a growing business area.
