Raymond James Welcomes Ex-UBS Maryland Wealth Team

The team have joined the Raymond James network having previously worked with UBS.
A financial advisory group collectively overseeing $990 million in client assets – and $1.6 billion under advisement - has joined Raymond James & Associates’ advisor broker/dealer platform, continuing a run of such moves.
The advisors, who join from UBS, are Arun Sardana, Adam Proger, Paul Grambsch and Reilly Loflin, Raymond James said.
The team operates as SPG Fiduciary Partners of Raymond James and will be located in the Bethesda, Maryland office, which is a part of the Chesapeake Complex managed by Warren Wright.
“In order to provide prudent investment advice to sophisticated institutional clients like the non-profit organizations we serve as an acknowledged fiduciary in writing, we needed flexibility, independence, complete transparency and enhanced resources,” Sardana said.
Sardana, managing director, wealth management and senior institutional consultant, has been in the financial services industry for 25 years. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was one of around 28 senior institutional consultants in the UBS Institutional Consulting Group, which he joined in 2008. Sardana has an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, he earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation in 2004 - awarded by the Investment Management Consultants Association - and taught at The Wharton School.
Proger, vice president, wealth management institutional consultant, has been licensed for over 14 years. He was a member of the UBS Institutional Consulting Advisory Council, a group of 12 institutional consultants from around the country who helped advise the firm on all aspects of the institutional business. Proger graduated from the University of Maryland, earned a CIMA® designation in 2009 from the Investment Management Consultants Association, and taught at The Wharton School.
Grambsch started his professional career as a pit trader at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange, which led to a position as a grain trader with Germany-based trading house AC Toepfer. Before joining Raymond James, he had been a financial advisor with UBS since 2006 and holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses. He earned his bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Minnesota and attended the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University, where he focused on international trade and finance.
Loflin had previously been an institutional analyst with the Institutional Consulting team at UBS since 2014. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and holds Series 7 and 66 licenses. Loflin earned the CFA® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Washington. He holds the CIMA® designation, awarded by the Investments & Wealth Institute.
