Raymond James Snaps Up Former Merrill Lynch Advisor

The financial advisor joins from Merrill Lynch, where he managed more than $147 million in client assets.

Wealth manager Raymond James has appointed financial advisor Walter Stamper to its Chattanooga, Tennessee office.

Stamper joins from Merrill Lynch, where he managed more than $147 million in client assets, the firm said in a statement.

“We are delighted to welcome Walter to our firm and to our Market Street office,” said Guffey. “His client-first values, which align closely with those of Raymond James, together with his many years’ experience, make him a great addition to our firm. He has a proven record of serving his clients’ needs, so we’re pleased he discovered the tools, resources and support available to help him continue to put clients first, as well as grow his business at Raymond James.”

Raymond James has been busy in recent times. This publication reported April 26, Harvest Wealth Advisory joined the firm in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. (Click here to see that story and background on developments.)
