Raymond James Recruits New Financial Advisor In West Virginia

Raymond James, which has approximately $608 billion in assets under management, has bolstered its Mid-American presence.
Raymond James has recruited financial advisor James Perry Jr to its Huntington, West Virginia office, according to Bill Theis, the firm's Mid-American complex manager.
Perry joins the US-based firm from Hilliard Lyons, where he had been affiliated with since 1994 and had managed more than $100 million in client assets, primarily serving high net worth individuals and families, Raymond James said in a statement. He began his financial services career in 1987 as a trust officer with a community bank in Huntington.
“His client-first values, which align closely with those of Raymond James, together with his many years’ experience, make him a great addition to our firm. He has a proven record of serving his clients’ needs, so we’re pleased he discovered the tools, resources and support available to help him grow his business at Raymond James,” said Theis.
This publication is awaiting confirmation as to whether Perry is taking on a newly-created role or replacing someone else and will update accordingly.
