The Florida-based investment management giant has bolstered its presence in the Northwest of the UK.

Raymond James has opened a new office in Wilmslow, Cheshire, headed by Robert Allman, a wealth manager with more than 12 years' experience. 

Allman works predominantly with clients across the Northwest of the UK, Raymond James said in a statement earlier this week. He spent an eight-year stint with Barclays Private Bank, where he sat on the UK private bank investment committee. Later in his career, Allman worked as a client partner at Artorius Wealth to establish its Manchester office.

Raymond James' new office will provide bespoke whole of market investment management solutions for high net worth clients, covering investment wrappers such as ISAs, pensions, offshore bonds and personal accounts, the firm said. 

“We are delighted that Robert is joining us, bringing with him his great knowledge and experience in the region and true passion for establishing a personal and direct service. This marks another great step in our expansion in the Manchester area,” said Cynthia Poole, director of relationship management and business support at Raymond James.
