The appointment comes at a time when cybersecurity is a top focus area for wealth management firms.

Raymond James has appointed Todd Ferguson as chief information security officer.

In 2018, he was named deputy CISO for RJF and “CISO of record” for Raymond James Bank, Raymond James Trust, Carillon Tower Advisers and Raymond James Insurance Group.

“Todd has a proven track record of success overseeing all aspects of our technical cyber defenses,” Andy Zolper, senior vice president, chief operating officer of information technology and head of enterprise technology solutions, said.

The appointment comes at a time when cybersecurity is a top focus area for wealth management firms.

Zolper will continue to lead the ETS organization, chair the operating risk management committee, and represent information technology on the firm’s operating committee.
