Raymond James Launches Admin Support Offering

The new business line covers services that would have been otherwise handled by a branch associate.

Raymond James has launched a program that offers advisors turnkey administrative support from branch associates.

Called Admin Extension, or AdminExt, the offering covers services that would be carried out by a branch associate such as setting up, supporting and maintaining client accounts, as well as offering business growth and risk management support.

“Advisors are empowered by AdminExt to fill a leave of absence, complete specific projects and seamlessly supplement staff in a tight labor market or during a significant growth opportunity,” Scott Curtis, private client group president at Raymond James, said. “In addition to freeing advisor time and solving staffing challenges, the extensive knowledge and dedicated focus of the branch professionals differentiates them as consultants capable of improving practice efficiencies.”

AdminExt provides engagement options beginning at a three-month minimum length of coverage and no renewal term limitations. It is also available to augment support staff needs for advisors moving their business to Raymond James. The service will expand to other PCG [professional contractors group] affiliation options in the future.
