Raymond James Hires Ex-Merrill Lynch Team

As chronicled by this news service, Raymond James has welcomed a raft of advisors to its broker-dealer and RIA platforms in recent months.
The Raymond James flow of new joiners to its employee broker/dealer network continues. The Florida-based firm recently welcomed former Merrill Lynch wealth management figures Vic Howie, Paige Passerallo and Dustin Lisk to its Raymond James & Associates business. They are based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The office is part of the the Metro North Carolina Complex managed by Rodney Lineberry. Howie, Passerallo and Lisk had previously managed $240 million in client assets at Merrill Lynch. Joining them is marketing and business development consultant Mark Passerallo and senior client associate Taylor Racer. Together, the team operates as HPL + Associates Planning and Wealth Management of Raymond James.
Previously, Howie spent 21 years with Bank of America and 10 years with Merrill Lynch, where he served as the company’s consumer market executive in Charlotte and as marketing executive for the national municipal/public finance division and the commercial banking division. In addition, he was the chief operating officer of the NASDAQ-traded bank holding company in Charlotte.
Passerallo has been in the financial services industry for 18 years. Prior to joining Raymond James, she worked as a senior trust and estate advisor for the regions of the Carolinas, Central Florida and Georgia. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, she worked for eight years as a trust administrator for Wachovia Bank’s personal trust department. Passerallo joined Howie in 2012 as a financial advisor and is a graduate of the Merrill Lynch Practice Management Development program.
Lisk began his career with Merrill Lynch 16 years ago. He works closely with clients to develop long-term wealth plans, implement tactical asset allocation strategies, and make informed financial decisions.
