Raymond James Bulks Up With 12-Person Wealth Management Team

Raymond James brings over a team based in Arkansas.
The US wealth management house has brought in a 12-person team overseeing more than $560 million in client assets, one of the largest groups to arrive at the firm this year.
The team operates as Financial Services & Investment Strategies Group and joins Raymond James from Wells Fargo. The business is based in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
The new joiners include financial advisors Jackson Rhoades; Jan Schmeski; Mike Stockton; Steve Bettenhausen; David Matty and Logan Stone. Additionally there are six FSIS team members whose roles include: office manager Cindy Mowry; client account manager Donna Kaczmar; client relationship manager Kim Pace; client estates & transfers manager Sandy Rehak; client data access manager Summer Obert; and client service manager Brock Bettenhausen. Starting in 2019, Steve Bettenhausen will serve as FSIS Group’s business controller.
Rhoades began his financial services career more than 21 years ago at AG Edwards and remained with the firm after it was acquired by Wachovia and later, Wells Fargo. He holds numerous industry designations, including Chartered Life Underwriter®, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Accredited Estate Planner®, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® and Certified Financial Planner™ professional certification.
Schmeski, financial consultant with RJFS and client contact manager for FSIS Group, began her financial services career more than 20 years ago, working at various firms, including Investment Professionals Inc and, most recently, Wells Fargo.
Stockton, financial consultant with RJFS and client events manager for FSIS Group, has been in the industry for more than 11 years, spending the bulk of his career as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo.
Matty, financial consultant with RJFS and new client manager for FSIS Group, has been in the industry for more than 15 years, beginning his career as an advisor at AG Edwards, and later at Wells Fargo. Prior to his career as an advisor, he worked at Baxter International for 24 years.
Stone, client financial plan manager for FSIS Group, began his career as a financial advisor eight years ago at Wells Fargo. While there, he earned his Certified Financial Planner™ professional certification.
