Raymond James Brings $900 Million Team On Board

The US-based firm - which as reported elsewhere completed a capital-raising - continues to add wealth managers to its broker-dealer arm.
Raymond James, the US-listed wealth management group, has brought over a $900 million wealth management firm to its broker/dealer orbit. The team, operating as Goetzman Nau Financial Partners, was previously at Merrill Lynch.
Team members include financial advisors Neil J Goetzman and Jeffrey A Nau. Other team members are financial advisor Gerald Lyon, and registered client service associate Kathy Trzaskoma. They serve a variety of clients, including business owners, high net worth families and individuals, non-profits and retirees.
Goetzman began his career more than 30 years ago at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, where he remained for the entirety of his career until the group’s move to Raymond James.
Nau had also spent his entire wealth management career at Merrill Lynch, joining the firm in 1999 and partnering with Goetzman in 2004. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University and holds several professional designations, including Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and the CFP® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Lyon, director of Goetzman Nau Financial Partners and RJFS investment executive, has more than 14 years of experience in financial planning and investment management. He started his career with Merrill Lynch in 2006 and partnered with Goetzman and Nau in 2012. Lyon holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation and earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from James Madison University.
Trzaskoma, director of client services for Goetzman Nau Financial Partners and RJFS client services manager, began her financial services career in 1990 and partnered with the Goetzman Nau team in 2005. She is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington.
