Raymond James Adds Financial Advisor To San Diego Office

The Florida-based firm has brought over an industry veteran from Merrill Lynch to join one of its offices in the Golden state.

Raymond James has appointed financial advisor Suzanne LaTour to its San Diego, California office, according to David Richman, branch manager of the firm's San Diego complex.

LaTour joins the Florida-based firm from Merrill Lynch, where she previously managed more than $100 million in client assets and have around $850,000 in annual production.

She kick-started her financial services career in 1988 in sales before joining the then-Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as a financial advisor in 1993. LaTour moved to Merrill Lynch in 2009, where she spent an eight-year stint.

“As a business owner and entrepreneur herself, and one who serves a very diverse group of clients including high net worth families and entrepreneurs in her practice, we are delighted she selected us to support her here at Raymond James,” said Richman.

Earlier this week, Raymond James unveiled details of its Connected Advisor digital advice platform, becoming the latest industry player to acquire or build a “robo advisor.”
