Raymond James has recruited a $112 million advisor team specializing in divorce financial strategies in the Sunshine State.

Financial advisors Ashley Banks and Donna Carroll have joined Raymond James Financial Services in Gainesville, FL.

The duo operates as Banks Carroll Group and previously managed $112 million in client assets at Morgan Stanley. Although they have several types of clients, they specialize in working with females, with a wider focus on providing divorce-related financial strategies.

“The firm’s platform allowed us to pursue our niche business geared toward women investors and divorcees, and we feel that their reputation and the breadth of resources made them the best firm for us to partner with, both for us and our clients,” Banks said.

“Another draw to Raymond James was the firm’s Network for Women Advisors,” Banks added. “Donna went to the Women’s Symposium last year and met the director as well as several women advisors who had experienced great success at Raymond James."
