Raffles Family Office Taps Ex-Schroders Asia Wealth Head For Advisor Role

The appointment adds to a busy period for the Hong Kong-based wealth management group.

Raffles Family Office, the Asian multi-family office and asset manager, has appointed the former CEO of Schroders’ wealth business in Asia, Simon Lints, in the newly-created role as strategic advisor.

Lints is responsible for driving the firm’s strategic expansion and business development in Asia, particularly in the markets of Southeast Asia, RFO said in a statement today. He is based in Singapore and reports to Chiman Kwan, founder and CEO.

Prior to Schroders, Lints worked at Credit Suisse.

“His appointment is an integral part of our robust growth strategy and underscores our commitment to accelerate the firm’s expansion in Asia, which will be supported by the best talents in the industry, with whom we’ll grow alongside,” Chiman Kwan, founder and CEO of Raffles Family Office, said.

Among recent appointments, Marvin Koh was appointed as managing director for relationship management, based in Singapore.

Last December RFO formed a joint venture with WorkTech, a co-working space brand in Hong Kong. The new JV, Raffles Tech, aims to gather different players in wealth management industry under one roof.

RFO, based in Hong Kong, is also incorporated in Singapore and Taipei. It is the holding company of Raffles Assets Management; Raffles Capital Holdings Limited; Raffles Properties and Raffles Corporate Services.
