RBC Wealth Management Poaches $300 Million Team From Merrill Lynch

The firm has hired a team to join its office in the North Star State.
The wealth management arm of Canada's largest lender has hired a team that manages more than $300 million to join its Wayzata, Minnesota office.
RBC Wealth Management recently snapped up the Piché Group, led by Joe Piché, from Merrill Lynch, the firm's Minneapolis complex director Tom Schulenberg said.
“RBC Wealth Management is continuing to attract talented financial advisors to our Minneapolis-area offices,” said Schulenberg. “We are thrilled to welcome the Piché Group, who share our firm’s values of putting clients’ needs first and giving back to the communities where we live and work.”
The Wayzata branch of RBC Wealth Management comprises ten financial advisors and thirteen support staff. The office is headed by branch director Rick Sterling.
