RBC Wealth Management Hires US Advisors From Merrill

RBC Wealth Management has recently hired a team of financial advisors from Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management in the US northwest, WealthBriefing can confirm.

The Flock Group, which includes financial consultants Shane Flock and his brother Tony Flock, their fatherLarry Flock, a financial senior associate, and Mary Malencore, a registered senior associate, joined RBC's Edmonds office in Washington State.

The team, which reports to Mike Nielsen, director of the office complex, had about $1.3 million in trailing 12-month production and managed more than $200 million in client assets.

Before joining RBC, Shane Flock worked at Merrill, a unit of Bank of America, for more than 11 years, while Tony Flock spent more than eight years there, according to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records. Larry Flock worked at Merrill for more than 39 years, while Ms Malencore was a 12-year Merrill veteran.
