RBC Wealth Management Bolsters Chicago Presence With New Team

The wealth management arm of the Royal Bank of Canada has welcomed a Wells Fargo team to its Chicago office.

RBC Wealth Management has assigned Heide Wealth Management Group to its Chicago office, according to Burton Street, director of the firm’s Chicago complex.

Joining from Wells Fargo Advisors, Heide Wealth Management Group is headed by Wells Fargo veteran David Heide and includes five additional financial advisors and five support staff. Heide has been in the financial services industry since 1990 and joined Wells Fargo advisors in 1995.

He and his team will operate out of RBC’s Orland Park branch, which is led by John Dwyer.

“David Heide and the Heide Wealth Management Group are seasoned professionals and bring a breadth of wealth management experience and expertise to the firm,” said Street.

He added: “RBC Wealth Management is committed to growing the firm’s presence in the Chicago area and will continue to look to bring on advisors who fit the firm’s client-first culture.”

The hire follows that of Thomas Pink, who was previously senior vice president and investment officer at the Pink Wealth Management group of Wells Fargo Advisors. He joined the firm's Stillwater, Minnesota office last week.
