RBC Recruits $250 Million Team From Morgan Stanley Smith Barney

RBC Wealth Management has recruited a team of advisors with over $250 million dollars in assets under management from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney for its Lemoyne, Pennsylvania office.
The team, known as the Turnbridge group, is comprised of Tim Engle, senior vice president-financial consultant; Brian Fields and Mark Snyder, both vice president-financial consultants; Chuck Koch, senior financial associate, and Joy Bochniak, senior financial associate.
RBC Wealth Management has been engaged in an aggressive recruitment drive in the US, hiring close to 270 advisors since the start of the bank’s fiscal year last November. RBC has been recruiting from a number of rival firms, luring entire teams of top producers in addition to individual advisors.
In May RBC hired the Galli investment team – which had over $3 billion in assets under management – from Credit Suisse for its San Francisco office. Specialising in the management of taxable and tax-exempt short-term bond portfolios, the Galli team includes Marina Galli, senior vice president – financial consultant; Jennifer Seidler, senior financial associate; Jennifer Cai, senior registered client associate, and Bonafe De Mayo, registered client associate.
RBC Wealth Management operates across 200 locations in 43 US States. Internationally, the firm has $450 billion of assets under administration, $220 billion of assets under management and more than 4,000 financial consultants, advisors, private bankers and trust officers.
