RBC Hires For Investment Services Role

RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, has appointed John D’Amato as manager of investment services for the Caribbean.

The George Town, Grand Cayman-based role is a newly-created one at the firm, and will see D’Amato take responsibility for the delivery of international wealth management services to high and ultra high net worth clients.

D’Amato is moving to George Town from Toronto, Canada to take up the position, and has previously worked for Scotia Bank and TD Waterhouse. He will report to Andrew McCartney, head of investments for the Caribbean.

In other news, the Canadian firm has also bolstered its private banking team based in Nassau, hiring Jeremy Proffitt from Vestra Wealth, as reported elsewhere on WealthBriefing today.
