PwC Singapore Names New Asset, Wealth Management Chief

The new appointee takes over from Justin Ong, who has held the post since 2006.

PwC Singapore, part of PricewaterhouseCoopers, has appointed Paul Pak as the new leader of its asset and wealth management practice. He succeeds Justin Ong, who has led the practice since 2006.

Since 2012, Pak has led the risk, regulations and compliance team within PwC Singapore’s AWM practice. He has more than 22 years of experience working with and helping asset management, asset servicing and wealth management businesses in Asia-Pacific, the UK and the US.

“In the last 5 years, we have seen the pace of change within the asset and wealth management industry pick up and the Singapore landscape is evolving faster than ever before. With Paul’s vast international experience with asset and wealth managers, I’m confident that he will be able to lead the Singapore practice through this new and exciting era,” Ong said.

Ong will continue to lead PwC’s AWM practice across Asia-Pacific and PwC’s Financial Services Assurance practice in Singapore, the firm added.
