Puma Investments, the UK provider of tax-mitigating solutions, has hired Shane Weston to enhance its profile among the advisor community.

UK-based Puma Investments has hired Shane Weston as senior business development manager to drive its offering of tax-efficient solutions.

In his new role, Weston will be responsible for building the profile of the firm's investment range, including Puma VCT 11, Puma Heritage, Puma EIS and the Puma AIM IHT portfolio service.

Weston was previously at Meteor Asset Management, where he led the distribution of structured products in the South West. 

“Our latest VCT, Puma VCT 11, has already raised £10 million ($15.3 million) while the recently launched Puma AIM IHT portfolio service continues to see steady demand. I look forward to welcoming Shane to the team and his contributing towards the continued success of Puma Investments,” said Puma's chief executive, David Kaye.
