Private Wealth Executives Join WE Family Offices In Miami

WE Family Offices, which is based in New York and Miami, FL, has hired two new private wealth executives.
As the globalization of wealth continues as a prominent trend among family offices, WE Family Offices has recruited private wealth executives George Moscoso and Manuel Cabielles. They will be based in Miami, FL, and serve global families from the US and around the world.
“We are seeing the wealth industry becoming more globalized. Hiring individuals with the experience and knowledge to serve complex, multi-jurisdictional families is critical,” said Maria Elena Lagomasino, managing partner and chief executive at WE Family Offices.
Moscoso and Cabielles have over 50 years of combined experience working with wealthy families.
Cabielles' career began at JP Morgan Chase Private Bank, where he spent that last seven years as a senior private banker responsible for client acquisition and advising ultra high net worth Latin American families from the Andean and Caribbean regions. In 2004 he joined Citi Private Bank to grow the firm’s Central American client base.
Moscoso has advised wealthy families, business owners and entrepreneurs for more than two and a half decades. Beginning at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York in 1990, he was a private banker in Miami and then Switzerland. He joined Citibank in 1999, where he spent a decade developing the private banking business of Latin American clients in Switzerland, New York and Miami. Between 2009 and 2012, he worked within Goldman Sachs’ private wealth management division, managing the Latin American client business based in Miami.
According to Maxim Global Wealth Advisors, the wealth management business opportunity associated with cross-border families is worth around $6 trillion. Family Wealth Report spoke to GenSpring about this here, and spoke to BNY Mellon about the globalization of family offices here.
