Private Bank of California has made three senior appointments to spearhead the launch of its Orange County, CA branch office in July.
The new office is the bank’s first site outside of Los Angeles County, CA, with David Cobb, Joe Mauriello and Mary Chilton at the forefront of its operations, the firm said.
Cobb, vice president and regional manager, Mauriello, senior vice president relationship manager, and Chilton, vice president of banking operations, will assume responsibility for extending the bank’s presence across Orange County while reporting to executive vice president, Nick Zappia.
Cobb, with 27 years of banking experience in Orange County, joins Private Bank of California from Community Bank in the county, where he was most recently first vice president. Earlier, he was senior vice president at Mellon 1st Business Bank in Newport Beach, CA, for almost 18 years.
Chilton, with over 34 years of experience in operations and project management, has worked with David Cobb for the past 22 years, and in her new role will continue to support Cobb, as well as Mauriello.
Previously, Chilton was vice president customer service manager at Community Bank, and vice president regional operations manager at Mellon 1st Business Bank before that.
Prior to his appointment at Private Bank, Mauriello was vice president relationship manager at Bank of the West in Newport Beach. He also spent ten years at Sanwa Bank as vice president commercial banking manager beforehand.
Mauriello has 30 years of experience in commercial banking, and will concentrate on middle market financing.
