Preview: New York Family Office Cybersecurity, AI Summit – June 4
The summit will examine cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, including how these fields intersect, collide – or possibly reinforce each other. The discussions are aimed at those working in and for the family offices sector.
Family Wealth Report is delighted to announce that it is hosting a Family Office Cybersecurity and AI Summit on June 4 in New York.
This summit addresses cybersecurity and AI topics, emphasizing how they cross over with the tasks of family offices. The program is tailored for multi-family and single-family offices, as well as ultra-high net worth individuals.
Participants will talk about the vulnerabilities that can trigger a cyber attack, how they can be prevented, and how the careful use of AI makes family office operations safer.
The afternoon will start with an introductory keynote on the summit theme by Chris Wake, from Atypical, Archimedes’ Lever – AI and the age of infinite leverage. He will speak about the intersection between cybersecurity and AI. Next, Kate Norris, from Atténuer Risk, will expand on the cybersecurity theme and moderate a panel discussion with Lisa Gelles from Howard Insurance and Tom Aldrich from 360 Privacy on The intersection of cyber and physical security. Mykolas Rambus, from Hush, will speak on Hacking people – cybersecurity, reputations and AI. He will show the potential dangers of the digital footprint.
Gilad Zinger, from Yemin Family Office, will speak about Human vulnerabilities and take us on a Dive into social engineering attacks.
The next discussion on the agenda will focus on the safe use of artificial intelligence – this content has been prepared by John Boles and Danielle Valkner, from PwC. They will comment on Unleashing the power of AI, navigating the benefits, challenges and risks.
William Roberts from Day Pitney will add a legal perspective and present A privacy plan for your family office. Andrew Evans from Rossby Wealth and Rossby Financial, recently featured in Family Wealth Report, with Why AI will not eliminate the traditional advisor. They will argue that efficiencies of generative AI will produce demand for growth of human-led advice.
The afternoon will end with Tim Schnurr from Inquisitive IT looking at What we can learn from highly mature cybersecurity programs. The fireside chat is a conversation between Ileana van der Linde from JP Morgan and Dale Buckner from Global Guardian and they will talk about From risk to resilience: Strategies for cybersecurity in family offices.
