The half-day conference, on October 4 in Manhattan, examines real estate investing and its intersection with modern technology.
Against a background of economic volatility, a period of rising interest rates and changes after the pandemic's disruptions, wealth management industry figures will be gathering in New York on October 4 for this news service’s ninth family office investment summit.
Held at the offices of law firm Dentons – also a partner for this event – the conference will comprise a mix of panel discussions, presentations and a “fireside chat” interview, covering a variety of investment themes. The conference kicks off with a keynote speech, delivered by David Teten, managing partner of Versatile VC, under the title “who is disrupting the investment industry, and how?"
The first panel is on the topic of “reimagining the real estate portfolio,” while the second is under the tag of “the legal side of tokenization” and “asset tokenization: real estate and beyond.” The conference also features presentations from CityVest, on real estate, and Howard Insurance.
Speakers in the first panel are Stephen Harris, CEO, ClearView Financial Media; James Brunger, chief sales officer, Capital Square; David Wieland, CEO, co-founder, Realized Holdings; and D J Van Keuren, co-managing partner, Evergreen Partners. For the second panel, speakers are Tim O’Regan, partner, Penton Partners; Joseph C Guagliardo, technology and blockchain partner, Dentons Venture Technology Group; Sanjay Raghavan, VP, Roofstock; Alan Silbert, executive managing director, INX; and Sherry Witter, managing partner, founder and CIO, the Witter Family Office.
For the presentations, the speakers are Alan Donenfeld, CEO, founder, CityVest Capital; Johnathan Joseph, CEO of SmartFunds; and Lisa Gelles, executive director – private client, Howard Insurance.
For the “fireside chat,” the two speakers are Rosemary Denney, CEO, founder at Wealth Matters Consulting, and Brian D Hughes, president, founder at Hughes Growth Strategies.
