The wealth management house, founded in 1983, now has an office in Tennessee.

Plancorp, a a wealth management firm based in St Louis, Mo., has opened its Nashville, Tenn. branch, led by Kyle Attarian. The firm oversees $3.9 billion of client money.

Attarian specializes in working with medical professionals and entrepreneurs, so the Nashville branch will focus on creating customized, goals-based financial plans for Nashville’s healthcare community as well as the city's population of entrepreneurs and small business owners, the firm said in a statement.

Plancorp specializes in financial planning, retirement plan management, exit strategy for business owners, and institutional asset management.

Among other recent developments, Plancorp has been chosen to be the human advice component of the first CEFEX certified hybrid-robo advisor called BrightPlan, which was launched in November. Plancorp has two other office locations across the country, one in Webster Groves, Missouri and the other in Sarasota, Florida. The business was founded in 1983, using a fee-only revenue model.
