Pair Leave Credit Suisse for Private Client Role in Atlanta

Boutique global investment bank Jefferies & Company has poached two former Credit Suisse directors to build its Atlanta private client services business.

The firm announced Jack Carvalho and Whit Yates as managing directors in charge of building the firm’s regional Atlanta client base.

The firm said both Carvalho and Yates boast client bases with many high profile executives and wealthy families.

The two new directors will report to Charles Baber, Jefferies head of Private Client Services.

At Credit Suisse the pair worked together as directors covering the Southeastern US, the firm said.

Jefferies Private Client Services has offices in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Stamford.

Jefferies is a global investment bank and institutional securities firm headquartered in New York with around 30 offices globally.
